Bigfoot: A New Movement Afoot?

People are tired of waiting for definitive proof that Bigfoot exists. It would seem that there is plenty of evidence & thousands of good eyewitness accounts. So what’s the hold-up? Why won’t science acknowledge this creature? Some people are taking the matter into their own hands & turning the tide. I was astonished by what’s happening & wanted to share it with you. Join me as CryptoVille investigates!

I listen to a lot of vlogs on YouTube and you know how they are – they’ll suggest related vlogs (I guess I should say “channels”) that they think might interest you based on your viewing history.

So one day this channel popped up called HowToHunt.com, yet the topic was on Bigfoot. I wondered, “Is this guy hunting Bigfoot too?” So I listened and it was like stepping through a mirror into another realm of existence.

The host, Steve Isdahl, is 150% a hunter first and foremost. He says he spends most of his time outdoors and I completely believe him. In fact, a lot of his hunting stories are very interesting and entertaining. It’s a whole other world that I knew nothing about, and it’s all kind of fascinating! Add to that the incredibly beautiful scenery that he shares in each vlog, and it’s an amazing experience.

Let me just say here, if you’re against hunting and all, you can still view the Sasquatch accounts because he pretty much keeps them separate. I cringe too, at these beautiful animals being shot, but these men use up all the meat for their families so this isn’t frivolous, wasteful hunting. I can live with that.

Back to the Bigfoot/Sasquatch connection. Steve tells us that he has had several encounters with these creatures and isn’t looking to have any more. He points out that these animals aren’t like overgrown teddy bears, they can be extremely dangerous.

We’ve discussed that point before on CryptoVille, haven’t we folks? I still think the most terrifying encounter I ever heard was the one Mike Wooley had. He has since passed away (2019) but here is that video. It’s about 6.5 minutes long. Well worth viewing.

This is an interview with Mike, about 10 minutes long:

The New Premise

Steve believes that we need to lose the idea of getting mainstream Western science behind us in proving that Bigfoot/Sasquatch exists. He says it’s a fact that they do and he’s seen them. He points out that thousands of people have seen them over the years and it’s time we acknowledge the experiences that these people have had and stop treating them like crazy people.

DNA Strands

He’s determined not only to stick-up for people who have had encounters and then been ridiculed because of it, he’s also sticking up for people who have been helping prove the existence of these creatures all along. He mentions Dr. Melba Ketchum often and how she was attacked, ridiculed, and downright defamed over her analysis of some DNA that was brought to her, purportedly from a Bigfoot.

Steve said he and others are certain that she was right in her findings and the Bigfoot community at large was wrong to try to ruin her reputation over it.

A side note here: Way back when I started CryptoVille, I quickly noticed how prone to bickering and bad-mouthing many Bigfoot pages/forums/etc. were. So I abandoned them. I don’t allow character assassinations or any other unpleasantness here in CryptoVille. We talk honestly about ideas and facts, the pros and cons. That’s it.

So back to Steve’s premise. I applaud the approach. I know many of you have mentioned to me that you’re tired of hearing about Bigfoot because nothing is happening, it’s the same ol’ same ol’ over and over again. I know I have practically been wringing my hands wondering what it will take for them to accept these creatures as woodland beings that are definitely there.

From now on, we don’t care what they think. Dr. Meldrum has more than enough footprint casts to prove these creatures are there. There IS some DNA evidence that Dr. Ketchum discovered and recorded.  So why won’t the scientific community at large acknowledge this data and the thousands of eyewitness accounts?

What are They Hiding?

If I understand Steve correctly, there is some sort of power struggle among Bigfoot researchers, the thinking being that if they carry on this delusion of being the first to discover Bigfoot, they’ll be able to continue making money off the phenomenon. And apparently, there are others who believe if they “find it first”, it’s going to make them rich.

Living Coelacanth in Indonesia

Hands up everyone who got rich off the discovery of the Coelacanth! The idea is ridiculous.

But what’s holding back the scientific community? Fear of ridicule? Since when is science afraid of finding new creatures/minerals/gases/ galaxies, etc.? That’s the whole POINT of science. So what is holding them back?

Steve has some interesting theories as to why this is happening and if I understand him correctly, he’s working on some project(s) that will explain it all. In the meantime, he points to books by a friend of his, Scott Carpenter, which details a lot of this. I hope to get at least one of his books and see what he has to say.

Check Out These Channels

But if your budget is in an iron lung at the moment, then I highly suggest you start listening to Steve’s How to Hunt channel on YouTube. The titles of each one indicates if it’s got Sasquatch info or is just hunting related.

Steve Isdahl

He’s an interesting character. He reminds me of a cross between John Wayne in his prime and the good guys from Lord of the Rings (Aragorn, Faramir, Boromir). I hope you’ll find it as interesting as I do because I’m truly excited about this new approach.

Just so you know, there is “language” in these videos, so if you’re under 18 please ask your parent’s permission to view them. (And have them watch too, because they will probably find it very interesting!)

I also highly recommend listening to Dave Paulides new YouTube channel, Canam Missing Project. He’s just started so there are just a few vlogs, but I love hearing him tell his accounts as well as touch on other interesting topics. He has recently befriended Steve Isdahl and from what Steve has said about it, it sounds like we’re going to be learning some really new, fascinating stuff about these Bigfoot creatures soon. I cannot wait!

In the meantime, here is the link to Dave’s YouTube page:

My friends, I will try to keep you updated on all the developments that may come from this new approach. It’s really a paradigm shift in how we look at these big hairy creatures. And I suspect it means some parts of the Establishment are going to wind up with a proverbial black eye. I hope you feel the excitement too!

Just for the record, I’m not affiliated with Steve or Dave in any way, shape, or form. I’m quite sure they don’t know me from a hole in the wall, and I don’t get anything for sharing their pages and whatnot.

    • Hi Jon! I kind of think that way too, but what’s interesting about Steve’s approach is that he doesn’t care if the scientists and the governments know about them. He’s seen them, he knows quality people who have also seen them and can be trusted – so that’s good enough for him.

I used to think we had to get science on board to formally acknowledge their existence, but I’m sick of waiting. We all know either people we trust who saw them, or we’ve seen excellent accounts (like the Mike Wooley account) that we can believe in. I’m done caring about getting proof for anybody.

Mind you, if someone does haul a body into a scientific establishment, I’d be fascinated to know how it differs from us, apart from the obvious outward appearance.

Anyway, thank you for visiting CryptoVille! … Susan (CryptoVille)

    • Please, enough with the we need a body comment. Many bodies or reprints of bodies have been made. Example: the Minnesota iceman and the snowplow incident in Wyoming. They are real. The pompous universities sre bought out by bigger corps that sent to keep this a myth. There are alot more bigger variables at play here.

  1. Don’t worry, if you miss this latest “Finding Bigfoot” there will be another one in two years! And no big foot had or will he found in my opinion.

Old big foot has been Moneytized down to the fine hair for a long time now yet the story remains the same . No body, no quality picture or video and a dead end to anyone trying to make sense of the phenomena . I know about the dead end.

  2. Great article! You seem to have an open mind and a good attitude, something I’d like to see more of in this area of interest. There’s a typo: It’s Scott Carpenter (you have “Steve”). He’s a stand-up guy, too, and everybody looking for “proof” needs to pick up his book “Truth Denied” if they want to find out what Dr. Ketchum was up against with the Sasquatch Genome Project.

    • Oops! 🙂 I’ll fix that now, thank you for letting me know, Nancy.

And thank you for your kind words and for visiting CryptoVille! … Susan (CryptoVille)
